Business Case Competition
Amid growing global uncertainty from geopolitical conflict, supply chain disruption, economic instability, climate change, and rapid technological change, businesses are shifting toward “reglobalization,” prioritizing resilience, sustainability, and adaptability over pure efficiency and expansion. This shift is captured in the “5R” framework: Refining, Reframing, Reforming, Redefining, and Revisioning, which guides companies to strengthen supply chains, balance cost with resilience, adapt operating models to geopolitical shifts, build competitive advantage through innovation and collaboration, and embed long-term resilience into corporate strategy. This Business Case Competition challenges participants to analyze real business problems and propose innovative, sustainable strategies that help companies build resilience through reglobalization amid ongoing global uncertainty.

Champion of The
27th IAF
Business Competition
Participating in the 27th IAF Business Case Competition was a truly valuable experience. One of the highlights was working on three different business cases across the preliminary, semifinal, and final rounds. Each case addressed a different challenge within the same company, giving us the opportunity to solve real business problems from an end-to-end perspective. The competition challenged my team and me to think critically and creatively while developing practical solutions under time pressure. Presenting our ideas directly to experienced judges and industry stakeholders made the experience even more insightful through their valuable feedback. Beyond strengthening my analytical and presentation skills, this competition also sparked my interest in the FMCG industry. Lastly, I’d like to thank the organizing committee for delivering such a well-organized and meaningful competition.
