Business Case Competition

Amid growing global uncertainty from geopolitical conflict, supply chain disruption, economic instability, climate change, and rapid technological change, businesses are shifting toward “reglobalization,” prioritizing resilience, sustainability, and adaptability over pure efficiency and expansion. This shift is captured in the “5R” framework: Refining, Reframing, Reforming, Redefining, and Revisioning, which guides companies to strengthen supply chains, balance cost with resilience, adapt operating models to geopolitical shifts, build competitive advantage through innovation and collaboration, and embed long-term resilience into corporate strategy. This Business Case Competition challenges participants to analyze real business problems and propose innovative, sustainable strategies that help companies build resilience through reglobalization amid ongoing global uncertainty.

Champion of The
26th IAF
Business Competition

Participating in The 27th IAF Business Case Competition was one of the most rewarding and eye-opening experiences in my academic journey. The case itself was intellectually stimulating—challenging us to integrate AI and technology into real-world business strategies—while the structured coaching clinics and insightful mentorship from the IAF team greatly enhanced our preparation for the semifinal round. One of the key highlights was the exclusive company visit to Microsoft, where we had the opportunity to explore their sustainability initiatives and gain a deeper understanding of the work culture at a leading global tech firm. The interactive mini case during the visit added another layer of learning in a dynamic setting. Throughout the competition, the organizing committee demonstrated outstanding professionalism and support, making the entire experience smooth and enriching. It’s a rare opportunity to grow beyond the classroom, push your boundaries, and connect with passionate, driven individuals!
